The Monash University Media & Communications Office strives to promote the University to further enhance our reputation for research excellence, internationalised learning and educational opportunities.

The Media and Communications team aims to engage general and specialist media to maintain our University's high profile. We achieve this through actively promoting the University's academic excellence, expertise and providing media outlets with timely and efficient information to contribute to public discussion, news reports and promotional material.

As academic staff of the University, you are actively encouraged to engage in public debate, promote your research and be an ambassador for the University. The media office will work to assist you in reaching your promotional goals by providing expert advice and guidance, media strategies and media liaison.

Monash University's Expertline is a free service to media to assist with the promotion of our University and staff.

Monash University's Expertline is available via the Monash homepage and is designed to be easily accessible to journalists and media. http://www.monash.edu.au/news/expertline/

Journalists have access to Expertline 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. It has been our experience that journalists generally respect the unwritten rule of 'reasonable' hours and we've not received any complaints from those listed

If you would like to register your serivces for Expertline, please download the attached form, complete and return it to media@adm.monash.edu.au. If you have any further enquiries about Expertline please contact Media & Communications on + 61 3 9903 4840.
